The short version. Suite Routes helps you figure out which credit card to use for which purchase. Right now, you type your card and spending information in yourself. We don't connect to your bank. We don't ask for your bank login. We can't see your accounts.
Almost everything you enter stays in your own web browser and never reaches us. The only thing we collect is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us.
What we collect
Your email address — only if you enter it to join our early access list. We use it to tell you when new features launch. Nothing else.
Card and spending information you type in — card names, spending amounts by category, points balances, and travel preferences. This is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it. If you clear your browser data, it is permanently gone, including from your own device.
Basic usage data — our hosting provider records standard web server information: pages visited, approximate region, browser type. This is aggregate and not linked to you personally.
What we do not collect
We want to be specific, because this is the part that matters:
- No bank or credit card login credentials. We never ask for them and there is no field to enter them.
- No account numbers, card numbers, or CVVs.
- No Social Security numbers.
- No credit reports or credit scores. We do not pull your credit and we are not a consumer reporting agency.
- No connection to your financial institutions.
How your information is used
Your email is used to send early access updates. That's the entire list.
The card and spending data you enter is used by the calculator running in your browser to generate recommendations. It never leaves your device.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information. Not to anyone, for any price.
- We do not share your email with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use your information to determine your eligibility for credit, insurance, or employment.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to operate the site:
- Vercel — website hosting
- our email service provider — email list management
Each has its own privacy policy and access only to what it needs to do its job.
Affiliate relationships
Some credit cards we mention may earn us a commission if you apply through our link. This never affects our recommendations or their ranking. We show you the earn-rate math on every recommendation so you can check our work. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your choices
Delete your data: Use the "Delete everything" button in the app, or clear your browser data. Both permanently remove everything stored locally. We can't do this for you because we don't have it.
Unsubscribe: Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us.
Request deletion of your email: Email support@suiteroutes.com and we'll remove you from our list.
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with privacy laws have rights to access, correct, and delete personal information. Since the only personal information we hold is an email address, exercising these rights is straightforward — email us.
Children
Suite Routes is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Your card and spending information stays on your device, which removes the largest category of risk. For the email addresses we do hold, we use industry-standard protections. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes — especially adding bank connectivity — will be announced clearly before they take effect. We will never quietly expand what we collect.
